  16. How do you remove eyelash extensions?

1. How are eyelash extensions applied?
Our eyelash extensions are applied individually to your own natural lash, one millimeter away from the eyelid, never directly on the skin. There will be a consultation before we start to establish what look you are after, natural or glamorous. I will then recommend the best length and curl of lashes to suit your needs and based on the condition of your own lashes, but ultimately the choice is yours.

2. How many eyelash extensions are applied?
Full set of eyelash extensions are applied anywhere from 50 to 120 lashes per eye, the final amount will be dependent upon the size and shape of your eyes and type of look you want to achieve. I will be focusing on designing and shaping the entire lash line using different lash sizes to create an individually designed look.

3. Will eyelash extensions harm, damage and lose my own natural eyelashes?
No, eyelash extensions are no worse than applying mascara and as long as you refrain from rubbing your eyes or tugging at the extensions you will not harm, damage and lose your own natural eyelashes.

4. Does it hurt to have eyelash extension?
No, eyelash extensions are painless if applied correctly and properly. Most clients feel comfortable enough to fall asleep during the procedure. At Be’Spot Lash & Wax, we use superior quality products to bring the highest level of comfort possible for our clients.

5. How do I care for my eyelash extensions?
Please refer to our “Aftercare and Useful Tips” section for more information.

6. What type of adhesive do you use for eyelash extension?
Our licensed technicians use NovaLash® – superior grade adhesive and lash solely made for professional eyelash extensions, however if you have very sensitive skin we suggest coming in to get a complimentary patch test.

7. What is the length and thickness of the extensions that are used?
Our eyelash extensions range from 8 millimeter to 15 millimeter in length, and 0.15 millimeter to 0.25 millimeter in thickness.

8. Can I wear mascara and eye makeup?
Do think twice about mascara. With black extensions, there is no need for it. However, if you are due for a fill or want to add more drama for a special occasion, apply Mascara by NovaLash® just at the tips. NEVER use waterproof mascara as it will break the adhesive bond with your lashes

9. Do I need to make an appointment?
Please refer to our “Appointment” section for more information.

10. The online schedule does not have any openings on the day I’m available, is there an opening?
Our online schedule reflects our available appointment times. If you do not see an opening for a particular time, it is because we are booked. We encourage you to check back frequently as cancellations do occur and will be reflected online. You may also contact us with your availability and we will add you on our waiting list.

11. What are your cancellation and rescheduling policy?
Please refer to our “Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy” section for more information.

12. What if I arrive late to my appointment?
Please refer to our “Late Arrival” section for more information.

13. How do I prepare for my appointment?
Please refer to our “Appointment” section for more information.

14. My eyelash extensions were applied from another salon, may I schedule a fill-in with you?
We do not perform fill-in services on work that was done by another salon.

15. When do I have to get a lash fill-in?
We recommend clients come in for fill-in every 2-4 weeks to maintain your optimum eyelash effect.

16. How do you remove eyelash extensions?
Removals are done at the salon by the lash artist. Do not attempt to remove the lash extensions yourself, it is best to schedule an appointment to have them professionally removed with a special removing solvent. You may also wait for your natural lash cycle to complete and have the extensions fall off naturally.
